Wizard's Concubine

Carve red feathers on my back
with the tips of your ebony nails.
Twist my matted hair in braids
and bind them with
lizard's shed skin.
Lick the crescent-shaped
imprints of your teeth
on my breasts.
Tattoo my feet with henna chains
and whisper hoarse curses
against my cheek.
Bind my wrists and ankles
so that I lay naked and open
before you on this altar
of blood-anointed stone.
Indulge my fears
and make me yours
with one sharp kiss.

Banshee

So deep the scent
of evergreens
as I dance on bare feet
across silvery rocks.
I leave a trail
of blood and petals
from the thorny
anklet of
wild roses
which scars
my flesh and
reminds me
of the unspeakable
pleasures she
will bring.
Wailing lures me
to where she waits
at the forest's edge
to gnaw my
shoulders
and scratch my
calves
in the moonlight.
She will deafen me
with passion
and devour me
with starving teeth
until I join
her wretched chorus
for eternity.
