These two (of six) images are from my graphic novel Butterfly. In the regular novel they separate the six major parts, but should it be published as issues, they'll become the covers. They were the very first things I did computer wise. Butterfly is actually an oil painting I did March of 98 and entitled Firegirl. I scanned the image and used the computer to add to the color and to impose butterfly wings over the image. From Flower to Siren is a photograph I printed out on canvas printing paper, then went over with oils. When I was done with that I scanned it and added some more color to it with the computer. They're more traditional type art then they are digital. Though most people assume they're strictly computer rendered.
