What We Covet: When it comes to fiction and poetry, I would prefer the submissions to be very dark in nature, with strong erotic elements. Erotic elements is an all-encompassing term and limited only by your imagination. I have no problems with same sex stories, fetish, torture, and pretty much any other taboo, with the exception of those same two that everyone has, children and animals-none of them please. (see the four deadly sins below) If you feel that your story may push a boundary, you may contact me first. Artwork is limited only by your own imagination. JPG format preferred and any questions, again, contact me first. Non-fiction should be just as engaging as fiction, please query first with ideas. My preference is supernatural horror, to tickle my fancy anything missing a supernatural element needs to be very dark and extreme. Darkest Dreams, The Duchess of Darkness Diana
Our Publishing Schedule:
Submissions rules: 1) send all submissions to Drayvenn@aol.com 2) Please make sure you type: BMZ submission and the title of your creation in the subject line otherwise it will be deleted. 3) Include a brief bio with each piece sent, any links to email or websites and a list of 10 keywords or phrases that would be found in the story, poem or reveiw that describes the piece. Length: Fiction should be between 1000 and 4000 words. Flash Fiction and Audio Stories which will fall in between 100-1000 words. Lucky for you, Blood Moon does accept reprints. However, the author must retain full copyright at the time of submittal. If a story has been published elsewhere, the author has to tell us where it appeared and when. Style: All fiction must have a dark erotic feel,

and Let us know what you want readers to know about you. You may use a pseudonym if you wish, but please send us you name and email. Please state wheter you want this information published in your bio or not. We expect all submissions to be of highest
quality. Slothfulness is not acceptable (another one of our deadly
sins!). So be sure to spell check, edit and polish your submission
until it shines like a wet leather whip on a tender ass! DO NOT send
your only copy! Blood Moon zine is not responsible for lost, damaged
or stolen files.
Formatting Keep it simple, eh! Please DO NOT HTML your submission.
It takes a lot of work to re-format the submission
for editing purposes. So PLEASE follow these guidelines. All formatting
will be done after editing. Please cut & paste submission
into body of email. NO ATTACHMENTS UNLESS IT IS A GRAPHIC'S

Previously published work accepted if noted when and where, although we prefer previously unpublished material.
Response Time Each submission will receive a confirmation receipt
from the editor as time permits. If you do not hear back
from us after a few weeks please send a query as your submission may
have been lost, misplaced, or not received. All submissions
are personally replied to with explanations as to why/why not they
were accepted or rejected. To ensure you get accepted for a
certain issue submit early as we fill up fast.

Payment As with all small press publications starting out again, most work is donated. Creating and maintaining a publication of this quality takes a lot of work and dollars.
