BMZ is 'the obsessive odyssey into
dark~eroticism', exploring all aspects of dark erotica in literature,
poetry & art.
BMZ features cutting-edge fiction that
probes deep into your intellect, awakens your mind and your senses,
makes your skin crawl, shocks you, quickens your pulse, and arouses
the dark desires buried deep within you.
BMZ deals with the darker side of our
human nature, our obsessions, our yearnings, the things we covet,
the things we fear. Dark erotica is the romanticism of the dark
side of our sensuality. It includes our fascination with death &
dying, with fetishes, with our diverse sexualities, and with subjects
that both arouse and frighten us. It conveys a feeling of seductiveness
and atmosphere. Dark erotica should break through the barriers of
what we consider normal, sane, and healthy attitudes. It should
be experimental, uncensored, and real. Most of all, it should inspire
an emotional response from its readers.
BMZ specializes in a wide range of literary
and artistic dark erotica, including: vamp, horror, BSDM, Bondage,
alternative (GLBT), fantasy, sci-fi, underground, cyber-punk, fetishism,
tattoos, body modifications, fetish fashions, dark photography &
art.
BMZ's goal is to provide our readers
with high quality dark erotica that not be found elsewhere, and
provide writers and artists with a lucrative outlet, an appreciative
audience and global exposure for their most diabolical creations.
BMZ is not a profitable venture, as
yet, and remains free to our readers. We believe that adult material
should not be hidden away behind closed doors, and to that purpose
we publish our zine free to the adult public. On the other hand,
BMZ believes that both artists, writers and contributors should
be compensated for the outpourings of their soul. It is BMZ's goal
to attract sponsorship to our site, so we may offer payed compensation
to our contributors. Presently, BMZ cannot offer pay, and it remains
a labor of love from both staff and contributors. We hope this will
change very soon.
Blood Moon zine first established in
1998, BMZ began publishing dark erotic fiction, poetry and artwork,
offering a market to writers/artists who fall through the cracks
of mainstream erotica and horror.
